Spot-welded grille

The raw material

Wire, as the starting material for the production of spot-welded meshes in a large number of varieties and grades, is the basic requirement in our company for meeting our customers' needs. High quality in the starting material ensures our customers of high quality in their grilles and meshes. It starts with the quality assurance provided by factory certificates, and goes right through to the storage of the wires in dry and temperature-controlled conditions. We work with wire in diameters between 2.0 and 10.0 mm. The materials used include raw/bright, copper-coated, galvanised, zinc/aluminium-coated and stainless steel wire in various grades.

Wire-straightening

A total of 10 wire straighteners are used in order to be able to offer early delivery dates and a consistently high level of quality. The straightened lengths can be between 100 and 5000 mm, with a tolerance range of up to +/- 0.5 mm, irrespective of the thickness of the wire in each case. This high level of precision is an essential requirement for the production of closed meshes, which are welded with practically no protruding ends.

Welding plant

The wide variety of customer requirements and the continuously growing technical challenges have led us to keep continuously adapting our mesh welding systems to the latest state of the art. Altogether, our machinery includes 8 automatic and 6 semi-automatic resistance-welding systems, up to 2.40 m wide and 5.00 m long. All the machines are equipped with transverse wire magazines, and some with longitudinal wire magazines too. A coordinate welding system rounds off our production options, for the simultaneous welding of tube, sheet, strip and wire components.

Spot-welded mesh

As a result of our technical equipment we are capable of meeting almost any customer's individual requirements. In addition to a normal square mesh, we can also weld rectangular meshes, or even mesh widths and wire thickness that change several times within one grille, depending on the production options of the individual machine.

Production options

It is not possible to display the production options in individual detail as a result of the complex variety of our machinery.
