The raw material |
Wire, as the starting material for the production of woven wire mesh in a large number of varieties and grades, is the basic requirement in our company for meeting our customers' needs. High quality in the starting material ensures our customers of high quality in their grilles and meshes. It starts with the quality assurance provided by factory certificates, and goes right through to the storage of the wires in dry and temperature-controlled conditions. We work with wire in diameters between 1.8 and 5.0 mm. The materials used include raw/bright, copper-coated, galvanised, zinc/aluminium-coated and aluminium and stainless steel wire in various grades. |
Crimping machine
The input material is subject to further processing before the mesh is produced on the power looms. The wire is given its typical corrugated shape by means of the meshing of two gear wheels. Manufacturing is predominantly carried out by means of quintuple crimping. After the wires have been crimped, they are fed into the weaving loom. |
Weaving looms |
The wide variety of customer requirements and the continuously growing technical challenges have led us to keep continuously adapting our power looms to the latest state of the art. The maximum weave width of our machines is 2.5 m. Depending on the thickness of the wire and the width of the mesh, mesh lengths of up to 35 metres are possible. In addition to the normal square mesh, rectangular meshes or meshes with varying widths within one mesh can be produced. |
Cutting |
The tolerances of the woven mesh are always shown as approx. + 1 mesh.
That means that the length of the mesh has a + (plus)tolerance that can be between 0 and a maximum of one extra mesh. In addition to which, attention is paid during production to ensuring that there is an even overhang, so the woven mesh always has the same overhangs during further processing.
Fixed-dimension cuts.
In the case of fixed-dimension cuts, you will be given the following tolerance options: -0 / +4 mm -4 / +0 mm -2 / +2 mm |

It is not possible to display the production options in individual detail as a result of the complex variety of our machinery. However, in order to provide you with an overview we have prepared the following list for you. |
